I wore Garrus out today. :D
How…how do I get one. ;o;
I’ll be selling my jewellery and taking commissions (If you’d like your Garrus to be wearing a top hat or a sweater or something in particular) later in the year if you’d like one. I just need to get payment and pricing sorted. :)
I wore Garrus out today. :D
Handmade articulated Garrus pendant
I can’t stop shaking his tiny little limbs back and forth. Based on an earlier illustration of mine involving Garrus and a cardigan. Going to give him a chain and model him tomorrow, for now he’s going to sit on my desk with my SD card looking all casual.
I managed to melt two Garrus heads today, I seem to be losing my touch with that heat tool already. Glad this one worked out though. :)
Plastic, Sharpie, Copic markers, Letraset markers, assorted jump rings.
Handmade Merril Keyring
I thought I’d do something that isn’t a necklace this time. I always enjoy drawing Merrill, she’s rather sweet although it’s hard not to make her look about twelve.
Sharpie marker, assorted beads and fixings, plastic.
The three of my necklaces together.
Expect a lot more of them in the coming weeks, along with earrings and bag charms. Once I solve the problem with the melting plastic and get the first few weeks of my new uni course out of the way I should be able to start taking some Jewelry commissions in the run up to Christmas. :D
Hand drawn onto plastic with Sharpie, Letraset and Copic markers, india ink and pencil.
I WILL GIVE YOU ALL OF THE WORTHLESS CASH-FOR-GOLD WELSH MONEY.
That comment…I can’t…

Handmade Arishok neckalce.
I finished him, and despite putting this one on a lower heat than Isabela the colours still melted (which meant I had to redraw the background which resulted in it getting a bit cloudy.) I think I’m going to have to invest in a proper heat tool rather than use the oven so I can monitor the plastic as I go along. Still, it looks rather nice on.
I’ve also made Isabela and Aveline so far. The next necklaces I’m due to make are Leandra with a forget-me-not background and Garrus with some sort of spacey background. I also plan on making a pair of earrings, but I haven’t a clue who to make them of.
Handmade plastic Aveline cameo.
I’ve been crafting again, this time trying to find an alternative to the clay cameos. After a month-or-two of wear I’ve found that clay snaps too easily, is slightly flaky and well, Merrill’s face seems to be morphing into that of Tamsin Greig.
So I’ve decided to give shrinking plastic a go, and I have to say I love the results. The colours have a similar quality to stained glass.
Excuse me posting this two (or more) times. I’m having trouble with tumblr at the moment. D:

A quick mock-up of the cameo in a bronze setting.
Rushed out on photoshop, but you get the idea. XD
Also going to order some coloured resin settings.
